Phase retrieval from experimental far-field speckle data.
Phase retrieval from experimental (laboratory) data has been successfully demonstrated. A diffuse object was coherently illuminated and Fourier intensity data were collected by a charge-coupled device detector and a video digitizer. By using the data and an a priori triangular image support constraint, an iterative Fourier-transform algorithm was used to estimate the phase of the Fourier transf...
متن کاملExcitation of Microwave Vortices by Ferrite Disks: the Near-Field and Far-Field Application Problems
A small FMR ferrite disk strongly perturbs the cavity field. Graphical representation of the Poynting vector shows that due to the vortex structure the absorption cross-section of a ferrite particle can be much bigger than its geometrical cross-section. Spectral properties of magnetic oscillations in a ferrite disk show unique vortex structures for MS-wave functions.
متن کاملStable optimizationless recovery from phaseless linear measurements
We address the problem of recovering an n-vector from m linear measurements lacking sign or phase information. We show that lifting and semidefinite relaxation suffice by themselves for stable recovery in the setting of m = O(n logn) random sensing vectors, with high probability. The recovery method is optimizationless in the sense that trace minimization in the PhaseLift procedure is unnecessa...
متن کاملIdentification of Inhomogeneities from Far Field Data
Inhomogeneous media identification is the problem of determining the physical properties of an unknown inhomogeneity from its response to various interrogating modalities. This response, recorded in measured data, comes as a result of the interaction of the inhomogeneity with an exciting physical field. Inhomogeneous media identification is mathematically modeled as the problem of determining t...
متن کاملMicrowave imaging with crossed linear arrays
The capabilities of a microwave imaging system working in air using two crossed linear arrays are described. The analytic expressions of the focusing procedures are derived, resolution and available volume of reconstruction are discussed. Finally, some experimental images corresponding to two dielectric objects are also shown.
